Connecting hearing aids to the television set
More hearing comfort through radio technology
Hearing Aid Guide
Watching a talk show or an exciting crime thriller on television is a problem for many people with hearing loss. Despite hearing aids, they have difficulty or no understanding what is being said on a show. Thanks to radio frequency technology, it is possible to connect the hearing aids to the television set - for optimum sound without having to turn up the volume and family members can once again gather together to watch.
Connecting the hearing aids to the television set via radio frequency technology
An extra wireless headset with a transmitter station on the television is no longer necessary. Like smartphones, hearing aids can also work with radio frequency technology. With the help of a small transmitter station such as KINDsurfLink Media 2, televisions and hearing aids can be connected via radio frequency. A music system can also be connected.
With KINDsurfLink Media, the connection of hearing aids and television is configured so that the audio transmission is automatically activated as soon as the hearing aids are within range (up to ten metres). Especially practical is the combination with a special remote control, which can be used to adjust the settings on both the TV and the hearing aids. For the KIND devices, the compact remote controls KINDsurfLink Remote and KINDsurfLink Mobile+ are available.
